Here is a link to an article in Wednesdays' Daily Herald about Orem City's efforts to remain financially in the black. State law requires that cities have a balanced budget, something the federal government can't seem to do. Even if the state law didn't require it, I as a councilmember would require Orem to have a balanced budget.
